Manolita Moore is the Annual Conference Director for the Western Veterinary Conference (WVC), one of the world’s largest continuing education providers for veterinary professionals. She is directly responsible for the Annual Conference’s day-to-day operations and planning, including the management of the Exhibit Hall with 365,000 gross space, 800+ hours of Scientific & Educational Programs, Registration, Events & Services, Marketing, Hotel Contracts/Logistics, and Sponsorships. In conjunction with the CEO and Assistant CEO, Manolita interacts and provides recommendations to WVC Board of Directors on key operational decisions and strategies for the entire organization.
Prior to joining WVC in 1998, Manolita was the Branch Administrator for the University of California, Davis, California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory-San Bernardino Branch. While at UC Davis (1988-1998), she served on various committees and received multiple employee awards.
Manolita actively serves on the WVC’s Education, Operations & Standards, Finance, and Safety Committees. She is a 2010 graduate of the IAEE Robert L. Krakoff Future Leaders Institute and a current Board Member of IAEE, representing the Robert L. Krakoff seat (ex-officio, 2011). She also serves on the IAEE Southwest Chapter Board of Directors (2011-2013). Manolita has a B.S. in Business Management and Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
